Let's celebrate women in leadership for a just recovery!

Join the one-month social media campaign led by the Gender Equality Committee of the International Cooperative Alliance using the hashtag #coops4women!
For the next 30 days, we will showcase the important role of cooperatives regarding women in leadership for a just recovery on social media!

You will be able to explore a variety of projects, activities, and materials on this theme, including some best practices from around the world on the theme of "Women in leadership and COVID-19", gathered and put together by the ICA Gender Equality Committee.
 
On 8 March, discover the ICA Gender Equality Committee Declaration for the International Day of Women!
The peak of this campaign will take place on 8 March: as usual, the ICA Gender Equality Committee will share a Declaration for the International Day of Women!

Ms. Maria Eugenia Pérez Zea, President of the ICA Gender Equality Committee, is encouraging all of us to participate in an active way in this social media campaign, to show how cooperatives are reducing the gap between genders. She highlights that "it is our duty to take part in the building of all policies and strategies focused on bringing forward the rights of women and girls, and their empowerment". On 18 March, the ICA Gender Equality Committee is organizing a webinar on women in leadership for a just recovery. Join the discussion!
On the 18 March at 15:00 CET, the ICA Gender Equality Committee (GEC), with the support of the ICA-EU Partnership (#coops4dev) team, will organize a webinar under the theme of "Women in leadership for a just recovery". Interpretation from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish will be provided. The webinar will be structured as described below:
