#IYC2025 logo launch

The event officially launches the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives 2025 (IYC2025) in the presence of global leaders, academics and practitioners. In October, the UN launched the logo, which depicts people around the globe connecting with each other to build a better world. It consists of three colours inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals’ graphic identity, with red representing society, blue representing the economy, and green representing the environment. Together this represents the contributions cooperatives make towards sustainable development.

Peepal tree planting underway

In September, we shared how the Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative (IFFCD) – a subsidiary of conference hosts IFFCO –  is planting thousands of peepal trees to offset conference emissions and make this the greenest ICA conference so far. This project is well underway, with over 10,000 trees planted so far.
